AXIS Modules

AXIS offers a large variety of specialized modules to help you maximize your Internet communication campaigns.

Multilingual WebSupport
Beside French and English, already included, AXIS multilingual architecture can manage all your site information in several languages (including Arabic, Asian and Indian). Once a page is created and approved, you can duplicate it in the language of your choise – you only have to translate textual contents.

Search engine
AXIS search engine browse through all the titles, descriptions and keywords used in your website. Results are presented by relevance. Pages and sections are automatically indexed when you activate the “Index” feature.

Document Library
The Document Library regroups all the documents of one or several websites so you can manage them easily. A logical indexation system using keywords and characteristics ensures an automated information distribution throughout your entire Web network (Internet, Extranet and Intranet sites).

Image Library
The Image Library regroups all the images (illustrations, logos, pictures) of your websites so you can manage them easily. This module also takes in charge image importation, conversion, compression and dimensions.

Flash and video Library
The Flash Library regroups all the vectorial illustrations, animations and SWF or FLV files so you can manage them easily.

Video function
With the video function you can select an FLV file and import it into the module-integrated Flash player. This function uses progressive loading, so the video can start to play directly while still downloading. Users cannot, however, further the video as long as the video download is not complete.

Form Library
With the Form Library you can create different kind of forms and surveys – short answers, long answers, true/false, multiple choice questions.
The module’s admnistrative section gives access to all the answers individually or in list form. The data can be exported in CSV or Excel format.

Hyperlink Library
With the hyperlink library you manage all the links to internal or external pages. You get use stats for each of these links. The module can also be used to manage shortcuts and redirections, in order to have easy-to-remember Web adresses, such as www.mysite.com/promotion.
Associated with quick access menus, the Hyperlink library generates automatically a list of links in the format of your choice (drop-down or list).

Automated updates news
With this module you can create automated news updates when more information is added to your site. An agregator automatically presents, according to selected keywords, the appropriate news in list form.

News and events
Associated to a News Library, this module distributes automatically news and events announcements in designated areas of your site.
Administrative functions:
- Absolute control on starting and ending dates of news and events
- Keyword feature filtering the news according to the chosen keywords
- In multisite mode, the module can combine news from several websites

Event schedule
This feature complements the « News and Events » module. The schedule function gives access to events according to a schedule identifying active dates (dates associated to an event).

Blog Module
With the AXIS Blog Module you can create and publish one or several blogs. The blog agregator regroups in a dynamic list blogs coming from different websites. If you wish to, internauts can make comments or suggestions. You can validate them or choose to remove them at will.

Banners management
This module helps you manage any number of banners to be displayed on a Web page (randomly or successively). Each banner can be composed of images and several text areas (three templates are available). You can define the activation and disactivation dates for each banner. An integrated feature allows users to browse quickly through the active banners.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
This module displays a list of questions associated to answers. When a question is selected, the information area enlarges in ordre to display the appropriate answer.

Site Map
This module automatically generates a map of your website’s structure.

Extranet and Intranet Repertory
This module creates a repertory displaying the complete list of Extranet and/or Intranet users.

Send this page to a friend
This feature enables internauts to send to another person an email including a link to the page they visited. A message can be added to the email.

Scrolling Content
This feature displays several texts alternatively in a scrolling area.

Multimedia Show
This module offers a complete management system for your PowerPoint and online training videos. The administrator can add-modify-remove any document at all time. For the user, the module displays all the available documents via an ergonomic interface.


Electronic catalogue
This module can display a large number of items indexed by category, subcategory and product family (the number of levels is unlimited).
AXIS structure makes it possible to associate products to pictures, technical notes, even similar/complementary products.

Catalogue – Characteristics management
In order to avoid having to create new products each time a characteristic changes (such as a new color for example), this module enables you to set specific characteristics and select them for each product when they are available.

Catalogue – Interactive product search
This interface displays an interactive table enabling users to find quickly what they need according to criterias they selected.

Related products management
This function associates related products to selected products. The related products are displayed when a product’s page is viewed.

Components management
This function associates components to a product.

Products management by geographic area
This function associates one or several areas (such as a country or a province) to each product.

Catalogue – Basket Button
Customers can select or or several products, choose their characteristics (color, size, etc.) and their desired quantity.

Catalogue – Comparing Products
Customers can compare several products between them. Selected products are displayed with their associated picture and characteristics.

Catalogue – Information Request
Customers can make an information request about a product. An email is sent to the administrator, including the customer’s request and his or her basket contents.

Catalogue – Orders Reception
This function automatically sends an email to the administrator when an order has been made. The email includes the basket contents and the order confirmation.

Catalogue – Orders management
With this function you can receive and manage an order from the moment it is made and follow the entire payment process (new order, in treatment, approved, confirmed, etc.).

Catalogue – Online payments
This function associates the payment process with a financial institution in order to finalise payment. Once a transaction is completed, an email is automatically sent to the customer to inform him or her about the payment process (success or failure). This information is also sent to the administrator.

Retailer search by area
With this function, customers can search for retailers according to geographic areas.

Retailer search by postal code
The search calculates distances according to postal codes.

Retailer search – Interactive map
The interactive map alllows users to easily find retailers. This feature includes visual integration of the interactive map, the Web integration and a management interface.

Retailer search – Statistics
This module compiles statistics for retailer searches made by internauts.

Customer Service
The customer service system ensures a professional follow-up to the information requests made by customers and internauts.
System features:
- Reception management system for information requests
- Reception receipts automatically sent to customers and internauts
- Automated assignment of information requests to the best human resource available
- Automated notification when an information request was not answered in time
- Request transfer when main human resource is not available
- Satisfaction survey including up to five personalised questions

Customer Service – Online follow-up
Customers and internauts can follow updates on the status of their information requests. They can also ask more questions or give more details via a secure “Customer Service Area”. A link to this area is automatically added to emails.
